Caramel color, one of world-widely used coloring, is one of our major products.

Caramel color’s definition is: “caramel color is kind of food coloring, also used in medicine and other products. It is obtained by heating the carbohydrate(like but not limited to sugar, glucose, syrup,sucrose ) to a certain temperature under certain production pressure, which cause caramelization, usually by the effect of catalyst like ammonia and sulfites compounds, and finally we get caramel color.”

According to the International standards, caramel color is generally classified as 4 types, like E150a, E150b, E150c, E150d, both 4 types can have liquid and powder form. According to the color tone, caramel color can be light yellow to dark brown and black color tone. Based on the production process, it has a special burnt flavor and tastes little bitter.
